honestly, i’m guilty of this. even after we ended, there are still times when i find myself stalking their accounts. not because i’m angry or because i have something to prove. i think i js want to understand how they can be so happy now, while i’ve spent almost a year dealing with the consequences of what they did. it’s hard to watch them move on like nothing happened while i’m still trying to make sense of everything that happened to me. maybe i’m not really looking for them, i’m looking for some kind of explanation, something that would make all the pain feel like it meant something

The hardest pill to swallow. It still hurts, but reading this healed something in me. There’s something bittersweet about knowing that it ended, while also knowing that we got to meet each other and love each other during such an important time in our lives. I’ll always be grateful that, for a while, we were each other’s person. It didn’t last forever, but it was real. And maybe that’s enough.

and also for u to truly move forward, feel the pain. If u want to cry after that person cross ur mind again then burst out crying, feel every bit of pain—give urself a chance to mourn until u get tired of the cycle, cuz if u keep on telling urself that u must feel nothing for u to move on then u‘re just trying to put a bandage to the wound without using alcohol/betadine for it to truly heal.
