I don’t know how this explains why I think he’s an idiot, but the critical drinker liked Godzilla minus one, but it had that tone of like not getting it like I’m convinced he likes minus one because there’s a found family in that and somehow that equals Christian values. Not to say it’s not in there, but that’s not what they were going for.

The man just doesn’t want to understand that his “non-political” made up movie is an impossibility. if you make a movie, it will either challenge the status quo or reinforce it. There’s no way to get around that

Knowing Drinker he’s a Daily Wire shill. He doesn’t go extremely hard on them unlike how he treats Hollywood movies, and on top of that his comments are really telling that his audience are only going into his reviews just to confirm their biases as opposed to getting any sort of nuance of said movies as a piece of art.
