@felidaecentre: 💦 FRIDAY = FRESH WATER DAY! 🦊❤️ At Felidae Centre, Friday is one of three days a week when we give all our animals’ water containers a proper clean-out! 🐾💧 Our volunteers spend part of the day cleaning out the water containers, removing dirt and debris, scrubbing them properly and then filling them with fresh, clean water. 💦✨ And our bat-eared foxes clearly know exactly what’s happening! 😂🦊 Today, they were patiently waiting for the volunteers to finish cleaning… and the moment that fresh water went in, they were straight over for a drink! 😍 Apparently, our foxes have standards… “Dirty water? No thank you. We’ll wait for the good stuff!” 🤣💦 Providing clean, fresh water is a simple but incredibly important part of animal care. For our volunteers, it’s also a chance to learn that conservation isn’t only about the exciting moments, it’s about the everyday jobs that keep animals healthy, comfortable and cared for. ❤️ From cleaning water containers to preparing food, creating enrichment and learning about the individual stories of our rescued animals, our volunteers become part of the daily life of Felidae Centre. 🐾 And sometimes… the animals make sure you know when the job isn’t being done fast enough! 😂 🦁 Want to experience the real side of wildlife conservation?
