@thequeenmakerofficial: Is a partnership transactional? Not in the way people usually mean it. A transaction implies you are exchanging something because you are missing something. A partnership operates differently. In a real partnership, both people already have value. They are not coming together to fill a void in each other. They are coming together because they each have something to add to a shared purpose that is bigger than either of them individually. The purpose needs them more than they need each other. That is the distinction most people miss. When two whole people connect around something outside of themselves, it is not depletion, it is contribution. Nobody is trying to extract what the other person has. Both people are adding to something that could not exist without either of them. This is why partnership feels fundamentally different from the transactional dynamics most people are used to. It is not about what you can get. It is about what you can build together. I am an interdisciplinary educator and Systems Architect for Human Development. My work is about helping people understand these distinctions so they can build connections that are additive instead of extractive.
