Lol the jokes on little Marco. The ICC has been preparing for a year and have insulted themselves against US sanctions! The Tribunal has been overhauling its systems , shifting its office software from microsoft to German open-source alternative openDesk and finding workarounds for health insurance and banking. The court has also been paying their employees months in advance to mitigate payroll disruptions.

This administration opposes the ICC because active proceedings could severely limit its political operatives and loyalist lackeys' ability to travel or conduct business internationally. While the US refuses to recognize the Rome Statute, member countries are treaty-bound to arrest indicted fugitives who enter their borders, turning any targeted official into a persona non grata across allied nations and exposing multinational businesses to severe legal risk if they assist them. TLDR: They want to avoid being detained during a refueling stop in an allied country, while preventing member states from freezing their foreign assets and financial holdings.
