@mc_bokujaka01: 🚨 “PAY US BEFORE WE DIE” — DISENGAGED DAAR COMMUNICATIONS STAFF SPEAK OUT AFTER 11 MONTHS WITHOUT PAY Former staff of DAAR Communications PLC, owners of AIT, Raypower FM and Faaji FM, say they have endured 11 months of uncertainty and financial hardship since their disengagement from the company. According to the affected former workers, they are still waiting for outstanding salaries, terminal entitlements and answers concerning alleged unremitted pension contributions. Their message is simple: “This is 11 months we were disengaged from service, yet we don’t know our fate!” Another placard reads: “Most of our children are no longer in school. Please pay us our money!” The former staff allege that some pension deductions made over many years — with some workers claiming periods of 16, 20 years or more — have not been fully remitted to their Pension Fund Administrators. They are calling for: 🔴 Immediate payment of outstanding salaries and terminal entitlements. 🔴 Investigation and remittance of any outstanding pension contributions. 🔴 A clear explanation of their status and outstanding obligations. 🔴 Urgent dialogue between management and the affected former employees. They are also appealing to the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) to look into the matter and help facilitate a resolution. The former workers say their families are suffering, with some alleging that their children have been affected in areas such as education and basic welfare. 📢 NOTICE TO DAAR COMMUNICATIONS PLC This publication is also intended to serve as notice to the management of DAAR Communications PLC ahead of a planned peaceful placard protest by the affected former staff.
