Even if they have a full on dutch team, it still made sense cause Indonesia was colonised by the dutch and all these players are linked through their heritage lineage. Singapore last time got random country playing for us, Agu, duric, shijayi, Qiu li, Precious, bennet, mustafic, Itimmi, Today suddenly got korean and japanese playing for the lions. This thing has been normalised heavily especially in European countries, big example is the France national team. Football has changed and singapore need adapt. We cant keep playing in the ASEAN field and be proud of Aff over and over again while other country is trying new things.
