🤦🏽‍♀️ You’re using Ebin holding mousse… and then complaining that mousse makes curly hair crunchy? 😭😂 Not every mousse is the same! I’ve used mousse on curly wigs for YEARS, and yes, there are definitely some formulas I don’t like. But a good mousse, like Nairobi, can give you beautiful definition without leaving the hair feeling heavy. I’ve also recently started using As I Am mousse, and that’s another really good one. It has a slightly minty smell, which everyone may not like, but the smell wears off and it also gives a really nice finish without that crunch. And even if you get a little crunch once it dries, scrunch the curls to break that cast and soften them again. This is why I personally prefer mousse over just water + leave-in conditioner when I want my curls to actually LAST. So before joining the mousse warriors 😂… try different mousses and make sure you’re using the right type for the finish you want.
