Lee Milne’s aggressive behaviour caught on CCTV. CCTV footage shows the harrowing final hours of Kimberly Milne’s life before she jumped from a motorway bridge to her death in what a court has found was a culpable homicide. The 28-year-old had suffered 18-months of abuse at the hands of her husband, Lee Milne, 39, who was today jailed for eight years in what was a landmark prosecution. The case was the first prosecution of its kind in Scotland, in that it found Milne responsible, even though his wife jumped to her death on the A90 in Dundee in July 2023. The CCTV footage shows Milne berating his wife and the couple later walking towards a flyover bridge where Kimberly climbed over the barrier and jumped into traffic below. After Milne was convicted, Detective Chief Inspector Craig Kelly said the abuser’s “behaviour in the time leading up to Kimberly’s death was truly shocking and placed his partner in such fear that she took a course of action to get away from him which led to her death. “She was very clearly terrified of him on that night. It is a tragedy that she lost her life as a consequence. “Our investigation also uncovered a series of domestic offences against Kimberly over an extended period of time, exposing him as a cruel, manipulative and violent man.”
