Your comments on Patient Zero are so spot on. Even more wild when you remember she wrote “Happiness” (evermore) where she seems to reference that bitterness and trying to heal from it, and recognizing good people can hurt each other or not be right together but it doesn’t need to be steeped in that bitterness. “I can’t make it go away by making you the villain.” And maybe that song wasn’t based on her real life…but it’s interesting to look back on it now with this song.
