I was bullied so bad I wanted to not be alive anymore. Instead of dealing with the bullies the school forced my hand in a truancy contract. I ended up in Juvie for a week for truancy and SOMEHOW those girls in juvie were NICER than all the kids bullying me at school. F*ck truancy.

if your child is missing school for medical reasons, i suggest to get chronic illness form completed by doc. this protects you as a parent by law

It’s CRAZZZZZZY how they take “attendance “ seriously and judge the parents but yet they don’t take physical abuse seriously when it’s known. The system is mf stupid.

gotta get a doctor's notes and see if the school offers Asynchronous. even if he has As and B's if he miss too many days that aren't excused it will be an automatic failure. my school is max 10 days

Migraines are debilitating. Migraines can take time to completely go away. The pain affects your eyesight, nausea and you feel depleted. Hopefully your doctor is aware and will help you with your school district issue ❤️

Ridiculous! My daughter suffers from migraines and I got tired of paying for co-pays just for a note from her doctor to tell the school the same damn thing I was telling them. She is now at home online schooling it and thriving.
