I did my final shift last week. My Daddy decided it was time to go on Saturday morning. Now t's all over, I'd do anything to be back on the clock with him again. At least he's at peace.

I loved my Mother however, I don’t miss the hard days caring for her. It took months for me to feel like I caught up on sleep and mentally could focus.

I helped my parents care of my grandma and it is a kind of love that a lot of people don’t understand. No matter the shit and hard days, despite the frustration, anger, heartbreak… I am so thankful that is was me and not some stranger 💙 I pray for you guys often and am sending every ounce of love I have to your family 💙
