loved the scene with creed from the office. chris hansen was so taken aback by the question of what to do with the predators because he hadn’t considered it. the predators weren’t chris hansen’s enemy, they were his creative collaborators

small detail I loved is when Chris gives Dan the bracelet, it doesn't fit, but shortly after, when Dan has to take the place of Chris, the bracelet does seem to fit him now, and he decides to give it back to Chris, I guess to show he's close to leaving the operation

I’d say it also feeds off of how people felt about the internet too. How it was full of strangers that could mean you harm. THESE predators are online trying to get your kids, (despite most predatory behavior towards kids are from trusted authority they know)

Richard Sapolsky published his book on free will recently and he brings up for an entire chapter humans thirst for justice, that sometimes meet “unethical” ends. He notes how overtime humanity has introduced more empathetic and less violent bloodthirsty ways of punishing criminals. We went from drawing and quartering to the electric chair to lethal injection because humanity wants justice but in an empathetic way. Ultimately Sapolsky argues because there’s no free will we shouldn’t be punishing or killing people but rather isolating them appropriately which reflects scandanavian governments and the results are encouraging! I understand Hansen and the show but I side with Sapolsky. We need to get ahead of the times and stop shaming people publicly for mistakes they aren’t even in control of. Unfortunately Hansen did the opposite of this and it led to a sad loss of life.
