I remember when this happened to my cousins coz they called CPS (they tried it)They actually went to vacation in Mombasa,enjoyed sandy beaches, buffets and the likes.Then headed to a rural town for 2weeks later to “visit family” and then their parents got ready to head back to US took the passports, broke the news that this home now. I think it hit them hardest when they were now being enrolled in Kenyan system primary school. I don’t know hw i would react if that happened to me from US to Kenya. They couldn’t believe that they had to hand wash their own underwear and use a pit latrin. Worst was being sent to school where they don’t speak swahili and had to wear uniform with really harsh teachers who whoop. We have American system schools in Nairobi but Like their parents really said you not going to the capital city,we sending you where you will get a reality check. Glad to say it made them grow and be more humble
