Omg! This has crushed my heart!! It fits exactly where I am in this chapter of my life right now. Becoming more and more isolated because I don’t know where I belong now. Dealing with my own old people bullshit isn’t helping because it comes at a time when I need my kids but I also know that I have to step back and let them live their own lives, without me, unfortunately. This doesn’t change my circumstance but it helps to hear someone else say it out loud. At least I know I’m not completely out in left field.

I’m extremely close to my boys but their number one priority now is their wife and children and that’s exactly how it should be and I am grateful that both my boys still put me as a priority always and they are the best boys ever I am very proud of them🥰
