@theghoulguide: Welcome to Maplecroft 🍁 This Victorian home residing in Fall River had once belonged to Lizzie ‘Lizbeth’ Borden. Purchased with her inheritance money that she received after being acquitted of charges in her parent’s murders, Lizbeth lived in this home and tried to make something of her life dispute her reputation. It served as a landing point for her when she wasn’t off traveling to Boston and New York to enjoy the theatre. After 34 years of living in the home and a year-long illness, Lizbeth passed away from pneumonia on June 1, 1927. Today, this home serves as a private residence and just a small piece of the mystery that is the Borden Murders. And although it’s not confirmed to be haunted, it wouldn’t surprise me to hear Lizbeth is lingering around the property she once loved. . . . #lizzieborden #hauntedhistory #historical #massachusetts #paranormal

My best friend use to work in the group home across the street from this house. When she would look in the windows at night she’d see rocking chairs move and no one be in it.
