@mona.and.family: What would you do with frying oil that has become completely black after prolonged use? 😳 I found someone selling this heavily used oil for just ₦500 per litre, so I bought 4 litres and decided to see if I could transform it into something useful. First, I treated the oil and allowed it to settle for 5 days. Then came the surprising part—the oil became remarkably clear! 🤯 But that was only the beginning… 👀 I took 1 litre of the processed oil through another transformation involving sodium hydroxide, fragrance, colour and ethanol, followed by drying and sieving.
