I’ve always thought the cherry on top of Future Lucy’s story would have been Natsu wrapping his scarf around her before going off to fight those Dragons, so she’d go back in time with it as her last bit of comfort. And Natsu would immediately recognise the scarf and know he died fighting to save her.
