My uncle is whackadoodle like that too. He stopped communicating with me when I was 12 because I sent him an email asking that he stop including me on his chain email forwards because most of them weren't appropriate for me to be reading. I haven't heard from him since then and Im 37 now.

I absolutely empathize with you. My father, who I loved and he adored me with his entire being, passed away suddenly when I was a teen. My bio mother, who was horribly similar to your mother, was unable/unwilling to plan his funeral, so her teenage children had to plan and execute an entire funeral when we had no idea what we were doing. Traumatizing people is like a game to these abusive people unfortunately. Fun fact to include, I at least got to do the music for the funeral my way because of this, so I got to play Stairway to Heaven followed by Highway to Hell back to back and scandalize all the adults. My dad would have laughed and been so proud of me for that one. I'm sure your grandparents were very proud of you as well.
