#rumi #Love #foryoupage❤️❤️ #knowledge #foruyou These three sentences can be understood as three stages of inner transformation—from self-awareness, to emptiness, to deep peace. They strongly resemble the spiritual language associated with Rumi, especially his ideas about letting go of the ego, desires, and attachment. 1. “I am smiling at myself today.” This is not simply about being happy. It can mean seeing yourself with awareness and compassion. Sometimes we take our worries, ambitions, failures, and even our identity very seriously. Rumi’s spiritual perspective invites us to step back and observe ourselves. When you can see your own ego, mistakes, fears, and desires without hatred, you may begin to smile at them. Interesting idea: The person who is smiling is almost like an observer of the self. You are no longer completely trapped inside your thoughts. For example, yesterday you might have thought: “I must have this. I must become this. People must appreciate me.” Today you look at those thoughts and smile: “How seriously I was taking all of this.” So the smile represents self-awareness without self-judgment. In simple words: I understand myself better now, so I don’t have to fight with myself. 2. “There is no wish left in this heart, or perhaps there is no heart left.” This is much deeper. At first, it sounds sad—as if the person has lost all desire. But in a Rumi-like spiritual context, “no wish” can mean freedom from attachment. Usually the heart says: * “I want this.” * “I need that.” * “I want people to love me.” * “I want success.” * “I want my life to happen according to my plan.” As long as these desires control us, the mind remains restless. So when the speaker says, “There is no wish left,” it can mean: I no longer depend on getting something from the world in order to feel complete. Then comes the beautiful paradox: “Or perhaps there is no heart left.” This doesn’t literally mean the person has no heart. It can mean that the ordinary ego-centered heart—the “I want, I need, I possess” identity, has disappeared. This is close to the Sufi idea of fana, the dissolving of the ego or separate self in the awareness of the Divine. In simple words: When I stopped asking the world to complete me, the old version of “me” began to disappear. 3. “Free from all desires, I sit quietly like Earth.” This is the most peaceful image of the three. Think about the Earth. The Earth does not complain: “Why am I carrying this tree?” “Why is someone walking on me?” “Why did it rain today?” “Why didn’t I receive what I wanted?” It simply receives, holds, nourishes, and remains. So “sitting quietly like Earth” suggests a state of deep acceptance and stillness. The person is no longer constantly chasing the next thing. They don’t need every moment to give them pleasure. They can simply be. There is also an important distinction: Being free from desire does not necessarily mean becoming lifeless or doing nothing. It can mean acting without being enslaved by the outcome. You can work—but you don’t need success to prove your worth. You can love—but you don’t need possession. You can dream—but you don’t need the dream to happen before you can be peaceful. In simple words: I am here. I accept what comes. I don’t need to possess everything to be at peace. They can be read as a small spiritual journey: 1. “I smile at myself. → I begin to see my ego and my patterns. 2. → I begin releasing my attachment to what I thought I needed. 3.→ I arrive at acceptance, stillness, and inner peace. So the movement is Self-awareness → Letting go → Stillness And perhaps the deepest message is this: When you stop trying to make life exactly what you want, you may discover that peace was already sitting quietly inside you. One note: these sentences may be modern paraphrases or adaptations attributed to Rumi, rather than exact translations of a single Rumi poem. The interpretation above explains their Rumi/Sufi-style spiritual meaning rather than claiming these exact English sentences are Rumi’s original wording. Shadow. 👽🐺
