I've been doing The Descent in ARK for so long I've become a Shadow Walker. Like, I don’t even need a torch anymore. My eyes adjusted. The darkness feels like home. I can hear a Rock Drake breathing three chambers away and already know which way it’s about to drop. I used to get jump-scared by every little sound. Now I are the jump scare. I move quiet. I stay low. I know every crack in the floor, every ledge that will yeet you into the void, every exact second the light from your tek suit is about to give your position away. People ask me how I solo it so clean. Bro… I’ve been living down there. I pay rent in the shadows. The Overlord (or whatever the hell is running that cave) just nods when I walk past now. Shadow Walker status achieved. No class card required. Just pure, unhinged cave hours. Who else is down here with me?
