Miami resident. When I was 55 I went w my parents on about 6 European river cruises as their 'Sherpa' 🤣 however even living in Miami I would never do carnival for fear of losing brain cells. Celebrity , RCCL, NCL are over packed and food is slop. However Virgin is as close the big shops come to small ship River boat vibe.

Nope to small ships. Currently on a celebrity cruise in the Mediterranean And I think a 2000 passenger cruise ship is a good fit. 27 plus cruises under our belt and I feel under 4000 passengers on a ship is about my limit.

I was spoiled with my first ocean cruise and don't know if I could try another. 😍 it was our 35th anniversary cruise and totally worth it. adults only. smallish ship. everyone had a balcony.
