Fun fact, Klaus used AI to learn lightning just like this and humans went in and fixed the details afterwards. AI is an amazing tool for helping the animation process but it’s still human creativity!

Seeing the rough Milt Kahl pencil sketch morph into that final look is wild — it kept his exact pose, even the hand-on-forehead despair gesture and the stretched arm. This is the best argument I've seen for AI as a paint/inbetween tool rather than a replacement.

ok but look at it. none of the details are there, none of the motion is true to the sketch, none of the soul from the sketch made it onto the ai version. human hands will always be better at recreating the human experience

Love this concept — taking Milt Kahl's rough pencil test and bringing it to a final rendered look while keeping the exact pose and those round glasses. The burgundy suit and red tie translate so well into 3D. What a cool way to honor classic animation.
