Reduce visible wrinkles The face is a living structural system. Skin sits over fascia, connective tissue, muscles, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and nerves, and all of these influence how the face moves, holds tension, and ultimately appears. This is why Functional Beauty looks beyond collagen and skincare alone. I start at the neck with the vibrating globes, working along the SCM and toward the collarbone to stimulate the muscle, support circulation, and encourage lymphatic fluid movement. Then I use targeted vibration across the face, spending extra time around the masseter and areas of repeated facial movement. Muscle tension and repetitive contraction influence the folds and expression lines we eventually see at the surface. Next come the cooling globes to help move accumulated fluid away from the face and temporarily reduce morning puffiness. The Spark provides more concentrated mechanical stimulation to areas of tissue tension, helping mobilize the superficial tissues and encourage better movement between the layers. And I finish with the toothed gua sha through the scalp, neck, and body because the face does not function independently from everything surrounding it. The scalp, jaw, neck, shoulders, and their connective tissues are part of the same larger system. This is Functional Beauty. Instead of looking at a wrinkle and asking only, “What can I put on it?” I look at what may be influencing what I see at the surface: skin quality, collagen, muscle activity, fascia, circulation, fluid accumulation, inflammation, nutrition, hormones, and the biology of aging itself. Skincare is one part of that system. And this is why my morning routine goes far beyond skincare. 6 AM Get Ready With Me | Episode 4 #FunctionalBeauty #FasciaMovement #HealthyAging #FacialMassage #GetReadyWithMe
