I was in year 3 when I needed hearing aids, I wore them for a few months and then refused, I decided I now deserve to be involved and not in a position where I felt disconnected and it took me struggling until the age of 20 to fully accept this fact and now I have my oticon hearingaids and love them 🦻🫶

Please make it so when you're playing music through them, you can choose to play it through only one ear too - because when we're walking at night we need to be able to hear our surroundings with one ear :)

This makes so much sense. When my 4 year old needed hearing aids, he was presented with hundreds of options, all colours, glitter, symbols like superhero’s or sports teams. I thought he would choose a discrete option - he chose neon orange with bats on it. He was so excited to wear it to school and his friends thought it was really cool. It’s no different for adults, we all just want to have a choice

Oh wow, this is incredible! I was told I needed hearing aids at 4, but I’m 31 now and have never worn them. Even the “modern” styles we have now make me feel so awkward and uncomfortable. I’ve joined the waitlist, can’t wait for the launch! 👀

Love these, I will never understand why they made the hearing aids with the microphone at the back, I want to hear everything in front of me. I hate wearing them because they are uncomfortable and noisy but can’t not as I need them. Would love these new designs for sure

I've always been uncomfortable with audiologists etc going "oh this one is super discreet skin colour behind the ear, nobody will notice" bc wdym i need people to know so they can make adjustments for me as well! Why do I have to wear secret stealthy adaptive tech and then still "come out" as hard of hearing before every conversation so people will talk in my direction and not cover their mouths when speaking? I'd rather people can see the hearing aids straight away. I live the design of these, especially the extra slim ones for use with glasses.

Love this! Used to work with children and teenagers with hearing loss. I’ve met many that chooses not to wear their hearing aids. I hope this catches on and becomes a new trend. I’d love to wear them even though my hearing is good. Maybe instead of AirPods?

when I taught first grade a few years back, a lot of the girls were jealous of the girl who used hearing aids, because they were purple and had "diamonds" in them

Now they just need to be as affordable as glasses. I many countries hearing aid is not paid for by insurance, so people have to pay themselves and I shouldn't have to pay 5000 for one piece.
