in medical research area there is some discrimination. for eg. funding differnence between studies on endometriosis and studies on male baldness. and im talking about public funding, not privetely sponsored or something

for every dollar the average man makes, the average woman makes 80 cents. going to an abortion clinic is becoming more and more difficult, even if its legal, people are being heavily protested against to not get an abortion, even if that means using force in some cases. Women have a much higher chance of being harassed in the workplace, being cat called in public, being sexually assaulted, raped, or a mix of them. But there's no actual laws oppressing them(besides abortion laws) , so I suppose there is nothing oppressing them or making their lives statistically worse than the average man.

There are still glass ceilings and not equal pay. That's discriminatory but not sure if it rises to oppression. Women are able to buy land and have credit cards without a man. It's sad that took until 1972 but today it's allowed. They can go to university and enter any field of career they want. I would say the world isn't entirely fair to women but I have a hard time squaring that with oppression. But I could be naive.

Outside the government telling women they can’t have abortion I can’t think of any law that does. There are men and women who oppress each other. That’s not a law though. It’s not as bad as other countries. I vote for people that won’t take away rights. It’s all I can think to do to change it. Am I wrong? If so please help me learn.
