@jameslalvarez: As a dad, one of the most important things I can teach my kids is to lead with compassion, not judgment. ❤️ People going through substance use disorder are more than their struggles. They’re someone’s parent, child, sibling, friend, someone who deserves support, dignity, and hope. I want my kids to grow up knowing that when someone is going through a tough time, we don’t shame them. We listen. We show up. We remind them they’re not alone. That’s why I’m proud to help spread the message of Unshame California and be part of changing the way we talk about substance use disorder. Because sometimes the smallest act of compassion can make the biggest difference. ❤️
