Drawings are all copy pasted trash now, with a big "Field verify" slapped on everything. Then us guys in the field do all the engineering, checks, installs, commissioning, rfis / submittal, etc. While being told to stay in budget, manage the budget, etc.

We dump apprenstices on the engineers and architects. They dont use any economics or useful contractual knowledge .
