it's hard to look for a position even entry level to get into . Everyone wants the experience. I have my life, health , p&c and adjuster license and no one has open door except life and health yet

I think you should discuss what type of insurance agency you are referring to and what type of insurance agent. I have tried health insurance agent remote work call center style and it was OK (not for long term). I have tried life insurance and it was terrible basically calling people from a stack of papers that are supposed to be warm leads, but are actually cold leads. Even though they submitted an interest form they didn’t really understand what they were submitting a interest form for. It’s not that they’re not interested its that they really don’t know the whole truth and which path to take. It takes a special person to only work on commission because bills don’t stop because you didn’t make a sale.

I got my license back in August. I've put out my resume to over 12 insurance offices in Crossville and followed up on all of them. Every single one of them said they were not hiring.

Why do I basically work for Wolf of Wall Street with 90% 29-23 year olds in life insurance? 🤣 Hundreds that cover 2 floors near Chicago. I literally thought this was satire. They produce Millions. It’s quite amazing to watch.

Im 23!! I been doing insurance for 2 years now!! I’m at a company that paid for my licenses and I get paid hourly +commission. I try to tell everyone my age that insurance is a good career you can expand to different departments.
