@elyserox00: When lifting with tint we are only lifting 2 levels always think about your starting undertone and your target undertone. Especially if you want cool and ashy hair . If you’d like to book an appointment, my salon, Rockit Studio is located in Schaumburg Illinois 40 minutes outside of Chicago in the northwest suburbs of Chicago . Elyserox Schaumburg hairstylist, Hair educator, liberal hairstylist #HairVideo #HairTOK #HairColor #ashblonde #hairscience
Imma grab bleach and 20. Then tone it with a beige blonde toner.

Underlying pigment is found at the target not at the starting place

You know..so many stylists have no clue about a color wheel, its so obvious and sad because it really helps to get your outcome!! color theory 101

So one of your videos mention if you have an idea or comment say it and bring some factual information and or content to add to the conversation. So I think we were all trained with 20 volume to lift from a seven to a nine. But here’s the thing when you’re now using cool tones to control warmth you’re actually sitting in the darker realm of nine so it might not appear to the eye to be a full nine. I would even recommend to add some type of a blinding booster a clear, maybe sometimes the brand will call it triple zero something that has just left with no level no tone. The other option would be to throw in a little bit of either 10 or 10 ash 10 violet so that way you’re adding a little extra energy to your formulation so that it can actually lift to a higher lighter level nine and then have your undertones actually controlling the exposed pigment

I’m a level 7 and looking for highlights but don’t want to use bleach. Can you do that with just color? I’m in Schaumburg down the street! I have virgin hair

I would choose a level 10A with equal parts 20v per. only on virgin hair. After a few weeks it’ll oxidize to a level 9N on its own. Then continue retouching with 9A from then on
