"Wherever you go, they go... whether you like it or not." 🔪👧 I decided to give the most iconic toy commercial of the 80s a dark, cinematic makeover. The challenge was to recreate the "My Buddy & Kid Sister" intro shot-for-shot, but with a much higher body count and significantly more scars. 🧸✨ In this version, Chucky and Annabelle take over the playground. It turns out that when these two are your best friends, the "fun" ends pretty abruptly for the parents—as you can see in the background. 💀🌾 The Tech Experiment: This was a major test in spatial consistency and the 80s nostalgia aesthetic. I used Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 to match the original commercial’s camera pans while ensuring Chucky’s facial scars and Annabelle’s weathered porcelain stayed terrifyingly sharp. The final shot where their heads demonically swivel toward each other was a test of subtle, high-tension animation. 🧪🎬 The Challenge: I’m leaning into "Shot Constraint" here to show how AI can follow a specific, pre-existing storyboard. How close did I get to the original childhood trauma? 😂 Which horror icon should get a "wholesome" commercial remake next?
