@boluslife: 1) tell my fam & friends 2) resign from work 3) tell social media, duh I have no idea what's ahead, but I do know a few things: First, our lease is up October 31st 🎃 Secondly, my last day with health insurance for the foreseeable future is November 1st. Which means I'm in a mad dash to fulfill many last minute doctor visits and prescription refills as I can. So far I have old fillings to be removed, a new crown to replace one (booooo), standard diabetes labs, and an endo appointment to schedule. I have no idea how long I will be without access to diabetes supplies,, but I'm hoping to have enough to get me thru until I can qualify for Ireland's robust Long Term Illness Scheme Third, I know Leanne and i have talked about this for years. I know we have done enough pondering, enough research, and JUUUUUST enough planning to make this move make sense. It's not our first rodeo - we met while living in Dubai. Finally, the best part about building online community is I'm not really going anywhere. In fact, I'm hoping to have the energy and creativity to let you in on the process of immigrating to Ireland as a type 1 diabetic. Anyway, I'm nauseous in anticipation.
