My daughter got drunk for the first time when she was THREE. At a wedding. My rum and coke was next to her drink. She grabbed mine and guzzled the whole thing. She had a blast that night. The next day…. Not so much.

I use to work at my daughter’s elementary school. I was taking the 1st graders to lunch, and noticed that one of the little girls was carrying this. Non frozen. She packed her own lunch bag and thought it was a juice pouch. 🤦🏼♀️

there was a dinner theater local to me that served a young child the alcoholic version of the drinks and the kid got super sick. it was a whole lawsuit and now they're shut down.

Same thing happened to me when I was 6 we went out to a hotel for a Mother’s Day brunch and I ordered orange juice and they gave me a mimosa instead and I was telling my mom and my sister this is an orange juice because all my pope was floating at the top and they were like Natalie just drink it. I was 10-11 and we were touring my mom’s future wedding venue. They left me alone in the shop for like 10 minutes and the guy gave me like 30 ice wine truffles (yes they were actually alcoholic) and I immediately stuffed my face with them. They were delicious. I was tipsy. Mom was incredibly angry but I was at fault somehow? 🤷🏼♀️

I went to a melting pot one time when I was like 19 and ordered a mocktail to go with my fancy fondue. I was feeling real fancy, so I had like 3 of them. I was feeling a little tipsy, but I honestly just chalked it up to the sugar and being excited about the fancy night and all. I didn’t find out until I got my check that they had served me the alcoholic version of my mocktails. Although at that point, I just went “yay free booze” and went on about my night.
