I am about to start. Life is messy. Maybe someone else needs to hear this. If you are a parent who acts like this, you need to check yourself. Treating the person who actually raises your kids with malice and games is an absolute failure as a human being. The children deserve better. For 19 years, I suffered manipulation by my ex and his wife. Throughout this process, they did everything they possibly could to intimidate me. They tried to scare me. They tried to make me back down. His wife publicly mocked me for months on TikTok, making videos about me. He lied about getting a lawyer. He thought I wouldn’t pull the trigger. He assumed I couldn’t afford one. He even brought bailiffs who were his friends into the courthouse to try to intimidate me. They knew that in the past, their tactics worked. Every single time. What they didn’t realize is that I finally decided I was done letting fear drive my life, and I definitely was not going to allow my two teenage daughters to watch them treat me like that. It is truly tragic when people hate the parent who raised, protected, and took care of their kids more than they actually love their own children. 19 years of dodging accountability just out of spite. What they forgot is that biology doesn’t make a father. Love does. While he spent two decades running from his responsibilities, their stepfather stepped into the gap. He is honestly the best father I could have ever asked for for my three daughters. We co-parent like an absolute dream. He shows up every single day. He’s the real MVP of this family. ❤️ Today, the game ended. I walked out of that courthouse for the last time. I dropped off the massive arrears rap sheet. The enforcements went live. As I drove away blasting gangsta rap, looking in the rearview mirror, I realized I am completely, beautifully unbothered. Fear left the chat.
