hey there. drip irrigation nerdery is kind of my thing. So you're missing a few components that are important. since you're running off of your hosebib, you are probably obligated by the city or county to have backflow prevention on that line. That's okay. like a vacuum breaker is a couple of bucks. But you also want to filter! So you need to add two things, an inline filter and a vacuum breaker and then your timer. less than 40 bucks.

i admire the hard work! btw sometimes plants (esp drought tolerant ones) don’t need daily watering or cities w the drought in my area of fl at least put out ordinances restricting non hand watering
