@jeepwannabe: Everyone always asks me. “All that money into a ranger. Why?” And the answer is simple. I’ve owned around 10 vehicles and this is the one that I learned everything on. My first vehicle period, paid $300 for it in 2019 and built it with my dad as a budget friendly temporary build for high school. Made mistakes, did things wrong and learned from those mistakes. Then sold it for 7k, and missed it every day. After a year or so I bought it back and it was rough. However I still felt it was home. I saw potential. I told myself I would build an absolutely beautiful truck and that I did. I didn’t have the funds to build it into what it is today, but luckily after many hours of work and figuring out my life financially I put myself into a place where I’m happy to say I’m doing pretty well financially and I knew exactly where my money was going. I know I won’t make even a fraction of the $62,000 I have into this truck since 2019 back but I’m perfectly fine with that because I never plan to sell it again. Someone could offer me $40,000 and I’ll turn it down. Never let go of your first truck because the sentimental value and the lessons learned will never be the same on another vehicle.

I wish, I’d have to buy a new one, my ol’ girl started falling apart but that’s kinda my fault, I didn’t know what I was looking for when I bought her for a first truck
