I’ve played it recently, it’s mostly grateful that you’ve raised the doll as its mother. You receive letters the doll that is supposedly your daughter start to mutate as she grows. For me she was grateful that I raised her at the end of the game, don’t really remember. But it’s just about raising a haunted doll
