80k points is such a good deal, honestly even $4k seems fine for a international flight to Asia. Laying down during turbulence is elite, it makes me feel like I’m untouchable 😂. I think it’s worth it if you have the funds and you’re not breaking the bank. We spend a lot for convenience 🙈

Also just flew LA to Tokyo on the fully lay flat Zip Air airline which is the budget version of JAL. It was $1200 (which included their fancy package, more luggage, food etc) but you can get one way lay flat as low as $800 one way. I thought it was PHENOMENAL. So worth it.
