@taya.egorova: For a long time, I thought loving my body would come after changing it. After fixing the little things I was insecure about, looking a certain way, or finally feeling “good enough.” But I’m starting to realize that maybe it doesn’t work like that. This body has carried me through so many versions of myself. It has danced, worked, healed, changed, grown, and stayed with me through all of it. And somewhere along the way, I got tired of looking at myself only through the lens of what could be different. I’m still learning. I still have days when I’m too critical of myself. But I’m trying to choose softness more often. To appreciate instead of analyze. To let myself exist without constantly feeling like I need to improve something. Maybe accepting yourself isn’t waking up every day and loving every single thing you see. Maybe it’s simply deciding that you don’t want to spend your life fighting yourself anymore.
