It sounds like you struggle with vulnerability. It can be really confusing and misinterpreted as not caring to others. You are self reflective so there’s always hope for reconciliation. I have a friend like that and would come across as cold and would say things to protect themselves because they didn’t want to feel rejection.

Sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like some of this resulted from miscommunication and hurt. Is it possible to have a conversation with this person and express how you truly feel? I do think friendships can handle conflict. Two people listening to each other and expressing their feelings. After having a friendship breakup, if I could go back I would navigate it differently. 💗
