Can’t be the only person that hated doing this I actually did to do my best to not come to school that day, or I skipped off somewhere. Cause is great and still strong which is good.

I feel him with me every year when I teach the kids how his hope was to raise a million dollars for cancer research and you kids keeping it going has helped that number rise over a billion.

My son learned about Terry fox and became so enthralled by him. My mom and I took him to the school dedicated to him out here and showed him the statue. The awe on his face broke and remade me at the same time.

My 13 year old came home from school and asked me to sign him up for our local fundraiser/walk and he walked the route twice. He didn't raise any money this year because it was so last minute but I registered him anyway and I've never been more proud 🥹 next year we are starting early and will be registering as a whole family

I’ll always be disappointed that my mother taught me to hate him as a child and wouldn’t let me give a Toonie and would tell me to not run. I ran anyway, but it took a lot of growing up for me to learn that way Terry Fox stood for was good, despite what my mother taught me
