so it was 1979. a teacher took me back in the cloak room and gave me a strap. I was so shocked as my parents never hit me and I live like a block and a half away and got the strap ran home. my mother was there and then she's like what my mother went marching up and she said stay here and that teacher never hit me again

His job is not to discipline, but to teach. That is all. I was almost slapped out of my chair by my History teacher Mr Ridenhaur as a Freshman. That was in 1989. I was hit on the head by my 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Wilmont repeatedly as well. I was targeted for being strange. Idk what that even meant. Nowadays the teachers are targeted & abused by the students. They all have smart phones & record everything & learn nothing. It's strange how things have changed so dramatically in just a few decades.

A teacher told the class not to speak, a friend whispered to borrow a rubber, the teacher saw us and after class said we were to get the cane. I told him he will need to call my parents before using that. Later that day the teacher came to me and said just write not to speak in class 25 times 🙄. I told my parents and they said I did the right thing and were not happy with the school.
