@bythewayitis: EP.01: That time we went hiking in the southern region of Japan. Kyushu is home to Aso Kuju National Park. There is some volcanic activity in this area, with steam and gases escaping from some peaks and ridge lines. We had to hike deep into the mountains for the majority of the day to stay in a hut overnight. There is no running water or electricity at the huts. The only amenity was the onsen. Definitely a culture shock moment when I found out the only way to bath in the onsen is in your birthday suit 😅
