hello again, so a couple of things 1st, I had just got home from a night out with my girlfriends, I'm HOH (hard of hearing) so I use captions, I read a lot of the captions on your other video wrong, but I was still logical, I do get it's a corporate issue, but it's also an food and health violation. unfortunately udf is a privately owned business so lawsuits start at around a million, that's why the won't sign the waiver, but back when udf first started the food and health department tried to make it almost impossible, but if u read my previous comment, a lot of udf workers AND managers don't give a damn, a lot of us waste the food off on the scanner, "throw it away" in its own separate trash bag, and "forget" it outside slightly near the trashcan, for our local homeless to "steal" , it's silent, off camera, and not talked about, udf donates to only local shelters and they have to pick it up. we donate the donuts, old ice cream, and the frozen version of old foods, sorry for reading your video wrong but my logic is not off. no gas station food and restaurants food is not the same. the health and food department thinks the same thing. corporate is wrong for not signing the waiver but it's not all corporate. if u Google a little,udf did once donate/ give away that food, and they got a few lawsuits. that's why they willll not sign the waiver too many evil people to use it against udf.Udf is the #1 gas station to get scammed, also I'm pretty sure other gas stations like 7/11 and speedway also won't donate their roller grill and hot food items, out chicken tenders, mozzarella bites and the chicken that's used in our snacks wraps are all owned and bought by sheetz, who also won't donate their hot items. it's not just a "udf" issue it's a most if not all gas station issue. hence why I say gas station food isint the same

allllsoooo, most udf people leave the wasted off food in their own trash bag and 9 times out of 10 the homeless "steal" it , idk about other locations but I know of 4-5 who do this little cheat code. the hot food at my store is always "stolen" from the special spot we put it in by the dumpster. just cuz it's not going to outreach doesn't mean it's not still getting consumed by locals who need it , we just can't mark it as a donation. it has to be "stolen" from outside.
