Yes, I absolutely 100% agree that everybody no matter who you are should always ask first. It is not your dog and you have no right to touch someone else’s dog. So when you are given the permission that you are allowed to touch the dog and pet the dog make sure that you ask where on their body that you can. I absolutely love that his manners throughout this whole interaction was amazing. It teaches everyone to respect the owner, the dog and the face that she need. It leaves everyone with a good experience with you and your dog and not a traumatic experience🥰
