just do it. i had the same number for 12 years and did it a few weeks ago. just don’t forget your old number and slowly transfer it all over

i had the same number since i was 12. i’m now 22 and just changed it about to months ago. BEFORE you change it though, go into all apps and shut off 2 factor authentication in all apps, even bank apps. other than that - it’s literally been the best decision ever
