@teresondupuy: That third party you resent because you think she “stole” your man? What condition were you in before she arrived? Were you exhausted? Anxious? Obsessed? Depleted? Walking on eggshells? Pouring your life force into someone who kept taking and taking? Because spiritually, there may be another way to look at what happened. Maybe she did not “steal” him. Maybe she became the carrot that finally pulled him away from you. And maybe that separation saved your life. When you are dealing with someone who is highly avoidant, narcissistic, addicted, or simply chronically dysregulated and unwilling to do their own work, they can consume enormous amounts of emotional energy. Especially if you have weak boundaries. Especially if you are rescuing. Especially if you are abandoning your own life to regulate theirs. Eventually, there is nothing left of you. So maybe something larger than you intervened. Maybe life created a door you were not strong enough to walk through on your own. And if their pattern does not change, another carrot may eventually appear for her too. Because changing partners does not heal the pattern. But this is no longer about them. This is about what you do with the freedom you were given. Replenish your life force. Strengthen your boundaries. Develop discernment. Build a life that is full outside of any relationship. Become secure in your own light. And never hand another person enough access to extinguish it again. Maybe you were not abandoned.
