@echo5bravo2: Soul too soul…… I don’t ever attempt to convert anyone to my faith as quite frankly that’s none of my business. However, Christ took me from a broken state after 10 years of brutal urban combat, losing those closest to me in combat, having to take a lot of life during that time, and almost passing myself being critically wounded in an ambush. I suffered a lot during that time, trying to process losing those closest to me and just the chaos and darkness of War in General. one night in Rome, Iraq during the big battle on my third tour I looked up at the night sky, and I asked Jesus to help me process this and become myself again, despite that seeming really impossible at the time. My best friend who had passed had drawn a biblical timeline on his wall by his rack, his name is Joe beer, and he brought me to God and cried at my baptism in the Euphrates saying “now we will ride forever be” We were only about halfway through the tour and he was only about halfway through the biblical timeline, so I decided to finish the rest in honor of him. Just so happened that that meant I was going to do a deep dive into the New Testament learn all about Jesus Christ. That’s where our relationship started. The healing began slowly I recognized more that I put my life towards him, the more the healing intensified he has restored me to a sense of peace and being myself once again, which I never thought I would ever get back. It wouldn’t be fair to him, and it wouldn’t be fair to you if I kept this to myself. I tried every form of healing and this is the only one that truly brought me back. Christians are no better than anyone else we have our own flaws that we’re working on just like everyone else and no one that does decide to come to Christ has to be perfect, we’re none of us would’ve been able to come starting with me. I’ve learned God welcomes mistakes because he knows that’s where growth comes from. Most importantly, I want you to know that God loves you deeply whether that’s reciprocated or not.
