The metal piece that it’s sitting on, is that for ventilation purposes. I have my microwave sitting in that same exact hole and I recently heard it needs to ventilate. Is that true?

I once accidentally put a cup of ramen in the microwave without water 😅 the microwave was stained with burn marks and the house smelled for weeks but the microwave still worked 😅

I always put my popcorn in the microwave for a 1:50s and it works so well and doesn’t burn anything I recommend to try it
