I wouldn't mind a prequel. The full tale of Jack on the Wicked Wench before it became the Pearl. His whole dealing with Becket. Barbossa and him meeting, and what led to the mutiny. And have it end with Jack marooned on the rum runner island.

Honestly, it would be kinda fitting if he came back as a ghost who specifically haunts the black pearl to forever taunt and haunt Jack about how the pearl is his.
